Operator Training

Training at various levels on all aspects of Production Mail equipment

Courses are prepared by our own training department with specific goals in mind and to strict quality standards. Training can be staged from Key Operator through to Advanced Operator and Setter level, to allow staff to improve their skills and knowledge, and encourage job development.

Maximise the operator efficiency of your equipment with staff trained by professional trainers to achieve:

• Higher net production rates
• Less downtime
• Engineers and Setters released to perform prime tasks

Approximately one month after the initial training course has taken place, the following actions are taken:

• Performance Assessments - Operators will have a post training assessment where an assured level of competence must be achieved
• Certified Competence - On successful completion of the assessment a certificate will be issued
• Performance Feedback - A summary report of each operator's performance will be issued to the customer.

First Line Maintenance and Self Maintain Training courses are also available. First line maintenance courses allow operators to diagnose and fix common basic machine problems without the need to call the Pitney Bowes engineer. Self maintain training courses are designed to allow customers to maintain their own equipment to specific standards and to diagnose common machine faults.

Customers own engineers attend a pre-course assessment prior to training. Courses may be delivered on-site or by arrangement at our training centre. Customised courses can be provided to reflect actual site configurations.
